On January 9, 2016, Manresa (Catalonia) will live a symbolic act filling the Plaça Sant Domènec in the city. This will be in recognition of the volunteers of the Ampans association, committed o people with intellectual disabilities. The culmination of the event will be the show Dreams, with the help of La Fura dels Baus: a human net with people from Ampans and everyone who wants to participate by signing this form. The Manresa experience will take place throughout the day of January 9th: from 10am to 9pm.
The show by La Fura will consist of a big assembly with a social component, with the active participation of members of the association Ampans. The Dreams show, through a human net of 40m high, aims to stage a fun and therapeutic element thanks to teamwork among people with special needs and their therapists, establishing an emotional connection and proximity in a different and unique environment. The assembly is a multi-sensory experience that plays with light, colors, pyrotechnics and synchronized movements to cross the fine line between reality and dreams.
