New Year’s Eve by La Fura in Rome with ‘201∞ Roma Illumina L’Infinito’

La Fura dels Baus will star New Year’s Eve in Rome with the show 201∞ Roma Illumina L’Infinito. It will be a large scale show at the Circo Massimo in the Italian capital, directed by Pera Tantiñà, with magical elements that will pay homage to the historic city. 201∞ Roma Illumina L’Infinito will culminate with the countdown that will welcome the new year.
More than 100 performances of theater, music, film or dance have been programmed in which 1,000 artists from all over the world will participate. The initiative, free, will run continuously for twenty-four hours, from nine thirty on the night of December 31st until nine o’clock on the night of January 1st, and will have as historical sites enclaves such as the Giardino degli Aranci, the Ponte Garibaldi, the Bocca della Verità or the Circo Massimo. Organized by the Department of cultural activities of the city, the party will continue during the first hours of the morning of the already entered 2018 and until that same evening.
