WORK IN PROGRESS: A laboratory developed within the sphere of digital theater. Simultaneous performances in various physically distanced spaces, connected through a network of digital communication. The sum of the live actors and the bits from the communication network. The public and the actors make a continuous incorporeal journey between the different interconnected spaces. It is not a closed project, but one which from its very first creation has changed in response to the contributions received, the final result being the whole process of evolution. From the Calculation Laboratory of the ç Faculty of Computing in Barcelona an interactive web page accompanies all of this process. It was developed in 1997 and involves four cities: Freiburg (Germany), Brussels (Belgium), Tarrega and Girona (Spain), all of them interconnected by video conferencing during the performances. http://lafura.upc.es/wip
