B.O.M:(Big Opera Mundi) A project by La Baus Fundició started in 1994 as an initiative de Carlos Padrissa with the intention to conclude the year 2000 with the celebration of a global show. The BOM looks for the interaction of different events that happen at the same time but in different places. The BOM project searches to creatively channel the euphoria generated by large events. The change of millennium is the biggest event of our generation. We are getting ready a global act in which, a large number of artists of all over the world will get connected to each other. Writers, musicians, video artists will take part in the creation of a global live opera, while the world spins once on its axis. The creation will occur progressively in the minute zero of the new year, as it consecutively happens in the different world meridians.
