UM SONHO BOM: La Farga was an old foundry, in the centre of L´Hospitalet, pulled down by the city council in order to use the space for urban development. La Fura dels Baus made a symbolic demolition of the building. The main characters were two great mechanical diggers mating with each other. >From that contact rose a spark which seemed to restart the foundry activity. Typical everyday conversations of the labourers that had worked there played as the soundtrack to the stage activity. Typical La Fura methods were also used, such as fireworks or music created using the building itself as an instrument. The industrial unit returned to its original activity again, for one last time, before being destroyed.
