1983: we look at theatre as an action show. The current performance doesn´t follow the rules of our previous shows, we have recycled Animated Theatre in order to subvert it from its own roots.The result is: Impact Theatre. We don´t want to animate the audience but break their passivity with unpredictable actions, shock situations, visual spectacularity, direct sound, modelled effects, fireworks, .. all these factors demand the participation of the audienceduring the performance. We demand their reaction, and impact is the most convincing way to do this.

The dynamics of the show don´t let the audience relax, they put them in extreme situations and they are forced to participate in the actions we develop within the stage.

RIFFRAFF MANIFESTO

F.D.B. –Is not a social event, is not a group, is not a political association, is not a circle of common friends, is not a charity association.

F.D.B. –Is an outlaw organisation within the current Catalan theatre.

F.D.B. – Is the result of two different and special elements which favour each other

F.D.B. – Is better defined as fauna than as good citizens

F.D.B. – Is theatre without rules of behaviour or pre-conceived trajectory. It works as a mechanism and creates activity by pure necessity.

F.D.B. – Doesn´t want to know about the past, isn´t inspired by traditional sources, and doesn´t like modern prefabricated folklore.

F.D.B. – Produces theatre through the constant interference of intuition and research.

F.D.B. – Experiments live. Every action represents an agressive act against the passivity of the audience, an impact operation which aims to transform their relationship with the show.
